Will my transcripts be kept confidential?
Absolutely! We take confidentiality very seriously and will never share your information. If you need to have a non-disclosure agreement signed, please upload a copy along with your audio files or send a copy over to us at: [email protected]

What is your refund policy?
We strive to provide high-quality, professional documents. While we do not offer refunds once a transcription job has been completed, we do offer a 14-day quality guarantee on clear audio. If you are not completely satisfied with our quality of work, we will make any corrections or changes free within 14 days after you receive your transcript. Please keep in mind that the secret to a great transcript is as simple as good audio. Even the best transcriptionist will struggle to produce a great transcript when working with poor-quality audio. In the case we receive an audio file of extremely poor quality where there is concern regarding the ability to provide you with an accurate transcript, we will notify you via email before we begin the project, and you may opt to move forward or request a complete refund.
What if I only need a portion of my audio transcribed?
Place your order for just the minutes to be transcribed and not the entire audio duration. You can enter start and stop times in the Order Notes during checkout. If you have multiple files, you may upload a document specifying each audio file’s start and stop times.
How will I upload my audio or video files?
A file request link will be provided after checkout. Simply select or drag and drop your audio or video files. Enter your first and last name and click Upload. That’s it. Larger files may take longer to upload and also depend on your connection speed. Any files stored in a non-digital format must be transferred to your computer for uploading. We do not accept non-digital formats via mail.
Is your website secure?
Yes. The website is TLS/SSL-secured, so the information you send or get through the site is private. Your transcripts will be stored in a password-protected folder with pCloud, accessible through the Downloads section of your account. pCloud stores files on at least three server locations in a highly secure data storage area and uses TLS/SSL encryption to guarantee your files’ safety.
Why haven’t I received an email?
Please check your spam folder and be sure to whitelist thoroughscript.com to ensure proper delivery. If your email is not located in your spam, please contact us, and we will resend it.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes. You can create a new account by selecting Register at the top of the page. There are no monthly minimums, contracts, or fees to register and maintain an account.
How do Account Funds work?
Account Funds allows you to pay for your transcription orders using a prepaid funding account. To add funds to your account, choose Account Funds from your account menu, and enter the amount you want to add. (A $10 minimum applies.) Then click Top-Up and proceed to checkout. To place an order using your funds, choose Use Account Funds to apply your available funds to your cart total. If your account balance is not enough to cover your entire order, you can pay the remaining balance with credit, debit, or PayPal.
